p.s. to massage therapy

Oh, my, I forgot to tell you Denise uses Hot Stones, Hot pack-neck and back, Deep tissue and aromatherapy.  See all the more reason to book now.

book a massage when you are here

Riverview B&B is blessed to have near-by one of the best massage therapists just a couple blocks away.  Denise charges such a fare fee for a wonderful answer to your "knead to relax".  The charge is 30 mi. for $30, or $50 for an hour and $80 for 90 minutes.  I try to go at least once a month and truly recommend her.  Book a night or more with me and take time to be "kneaded" by Denise.  Call me to help you set this up. 920-293-4423

winter warm ideas

Winter's warmth or winter's woes...which are you experiencing?  Come to Riverview B&B and shed those woes for warmth.  Bring your ice fishing equipment, snowshoes, cross country skis or use the ice skates provided and get out there for some activity that will make you smile in one of our parks or on the ice across the street from Riverview.  Then come in for hot chocolate, our signature oatmeal/raisin cookies, and/or popcorn, sit near the warmth of the electric fireplace to warm your toes and your heart. Oh, yes, bring a book or a DVD for the quieter moments.

Neshkoro is located in Central Wisconsin on HIghway 73 between highways 39 to the west and 41 on the east, highway 21 to the north and 23 to the south.  It is a small picturesque fishing village which holds a charming gazebo, ice skating rink, great fishing (a 33 inch Northern was caught at the Fisheree on January 12), nearby trails for cross country skiing, snowshoeing or snow mobiling.

You don't need to spend lots of $$ for a great time.  Check out our website theriverviewbnb.com

Want to take Riverview home with you?

Apples and Cinnamon Toast Recipe - Serves 8

Ingredients
4 eggs, slightly beaten
1 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
¼ tsp baking powder
1 loaf of French bread, cut into 1-inch slices (use the ends for something else)
2 large cooking apples, peeled, cored and sliced thinly
½ cup brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 Tbl. Butter, melted
2 – 9 X 13" pans
Directions
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Spray one 9 X 13" baking dish with cooking spray
Whisk together eggs, milk, baking powder and vanilla in large bowl
Place the bread slices in an ungreased 9X13" baking dish and pour egg mixture over the bread.  Turn slices to coat, then cover the pan with plastic wrap and let stand until liquid is absorbed. (You may find you want to add another egg and a couple more tablespoons of milk)*
Place sliced apples in a layer on bottom of the greased 9X13" baking pan.  Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon over apples, walnut pieces may be a choice to add also
Arrange soaked bread slices over top of apples, then brush with melted butter.
Bake in center of preheated oven for 25 minutes (until golden brown).  Serve with maple syrup and whipped cream or dust with powdered sugar.
*It is very convenient to do this far the night before and refrigerate until morning, then complete the directions, bake and serve.  YUMMY!  Serve with bacon, juice, coffee or what else you may choose.
